Western Wedding Dresses

western-wedding-dressesWedding dresses come in a wide range of diversity. Designs, styles and fabrics change from one place to the next. Background and culture also have a say in the matter and can affect the overall theme of a wedding. That is the main reason why western wedding dresses vary a great deal from the Asian type. Nevertheless, they have a special role to play. Any two brides may not choose a similar type of a dress. Further, culture has an important role in deciding about the type of wedding dress that a bride is going to wear. Those brides who choose western wedding dresses need to consider the fabric, colors and accessories.
western-wedding-dressesThe western wedding dresses can be created using a variety of fabrics. The most popular fabric across USA and Canada is satin due to the elegance, style and comfort provided by it. The color of such western wedding dresses should be chosen very carefully. It is important that the color of the bride's dress matches with that of the wedding location.
western-wedding-dressesWestern wedding dresses conjure up the idea of hats, hocks and spurs. The market caters for these too. North American suppliers are falling over themselves to provide accessories that will facilitate the trip back to that wild-west era. It is a very creative option. In all cases, the accessories must compliment the setting of the wedding. Many people make mistakes here, considering them as separate entities.

Vintage Wedding Dresses

vintage-wedding-dressesVintage wedding dresses are an entirely different concept if one wants to be reminded of the old times. 'Old is gold' is well said and seriously the style, fabric, design used to come at old times still looks trendy. Trends always repeat themselves except for the few changes that make the dresses a bit modern. Many couples want to keep their marriage simple and stylish; they want to stay away with the pinch of glamour and shine. So, the need arises of completely different wardrobe that goes with the theme.
vintage-wedding-dressesThis is precisely the essence of the vintage wedding dresses-they transport you back to a forgotten era! Fashion winter 2011

Stuart Vevers has unearthed a Hollywood heroine in Loewe’s Madrid archive. “We recently found a visitor’s book signed by Ava Gardner,” he said backstage. “That’s been a bit special.” It explained why Old Blue Eyes was on the soundtrack of the Fall Winter 2010 2011presentation.

Gardner fled to live in Madrid when her marriage to Frank Sinatra was on the rocks, in 1955, after filming The Barefoot Contessa in Europe. While amusing herself with, among other things, a virile bullfighter, she also found time to pick up the occasional handmade leather item in Loewe’s Gran Via store.

Fashion Spring Summer 2011

Words used by the brand’s creative director of Bottega Veneta Tomas Maier, to describe his new resort collection for spring summer 2011 seem very appropriate: “architectural”, “graphic” and “simple lines.”

This brand, like Fendi, Hermes and Louis Vuitton, are better known for their handbags and accessories but not for clothing, so it’s no easy feat to make a statement with their fashion collections. However, this particular collection, stands out. The german designer Maier, has been able to raise Bottega Veneta fashion to a new level.

Graphic touches were particularly noticeable. Prom dresses, the most beautiful pieces of the collection. T-shirts inspired by wetsuits are also highlighted.
